Lipodissolve

Lipodissolve (lipostabil), a treatment pioneered by doctors in South America, is based on a substance made up of Soya oil and was originally developed to lower cholesterol levels in the blood.

Lipodissolve is a comprehensive approach for the permanent dissolution of unwanted fat and cellulite. Dr. Calderon combines this therapy with the best methods of dietary management, fitness training, and medical weight loss. Treatments take less than an hour and are often called a “coffee break lipo” or a “lunch break lipo.”

Hailed as one of the most exciting new treatments for years, Lipodissolve does away with the traditional fat vacuum method altogether. Instead, it disposes of those unwanted inches by injecting a drug called lipostabil into the offending bulge. The active ingredient is a naturally occurring enzyme solution called phosphatidylcholine deoxylate or PCDC, which is administered through a series of microinjections to permanently dissolve the fat. It breaks down the walls of the fatty cells and the waste is then flushed out when you go to the restroom.

Dr. Calderon can use it on the eyes, chin and body and says it’s ideal for smaller areas of fat that won’t shift, but aren’t blubbery enough for surgery. Lipodissolve can also get rid of unsightly, bulging bags under the eyes – without resorting to the surgeon’s knife. The method is equally successful for the reduction of double chins and the removal of localized, stubborn fat on the waistline, hips, thighs, knees and abdomen.
